All about Love

” To be a great artist, you must know all about love and be able to live without it”

-Anna Pavlova

Anna Pavlova (1911). John Lavery (Irish, 1856-1941). Oil on canvas. Glasgow Museums: Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. The Observer critic wrote on 16 April 1911: “Mr. Lavery’s portrait of the Russian dancer, Anna Pavlova, caught in a moment of graceful, weightless movement … Her miraculous, feather-like flight, which seems to defy the law of gravitation.”

Love is a good tonic, take it every day and you will live happily, give it away and you will be happier.

But not all will be willing to accept your love. But it stirs in your heart, cause in a corner you wanted to be loved back.

Some are courageous, self-sacrificing, persistent and bold. They still insist their love, gave it willingly never knowing if it will be given back but always hoping that it would be returned.

They have been struck with rejection multiple times, then sorrow and self-pity follows. The next day they stand up.

“I’ll try and love again. Love is always worth the ride.”

Some came back bloody broken. Some win the love they have always wanted.

Some meet and the sparks turn into a flame, burns them to be able to grow together beautifully.  Some lost the glitter and chose to let go.

Some love is free like a gypsy. Some are caged in secrecy. Most are boring, but inside that relationship, a crazy passionate love lay, enough to accept imperfections and weakness strong enough to last a lifetime.

Some fall, and tragically longed for the loved lost. Some are forced and yet developed great love, so great that it can destroy or make them.

What are your love story?
